A 4 day Cuban choral intensive with Alina Orraca in Vancouver! Join us Feb 15th-18th for Cuban choral boot camp with the incredible, dynamic and inspiring Alina! We will revisit the repertoire from SongRoutes Cuba and learn 2-3 new pieces, culminating in a collaborative performance with local Cuban musicians on Tuesday Feb 18th.
We will rehearse Sat, Sun and Mon from 10:00 am- 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm-5:00 pm. We will self cater our lunches and eat together. There will be some optional evening activities. On Tuesday Feb 18th, we will have a late afternoon dress rehearsal and then perform in the evening. There will be some optional rehearsals in the fall/winter leading up to Alina’s visit so that we can be as prepared as possible.
The cost for this workshop is $300 + GST – including 18 hours of instruction, lunch costs, venue rentals and Alina’s travel costs. To secure your spot – there is a $50 non-refundable deposit. The balance of your payment will be due Nov 15th 2019.
