SongRoutes Mexico – January 2-9 2026

Join us for an exciting 7 day vocal and cultural intensive in Mexico City! This trip will be an amazing learning opportunity and an introduction into the rich musical world of Mexico.

We will have workshops in Mexican choral music,  Mexican Opera technique, Son Jarocho and Son Huasteco and we will collaborate with female vocal ensemble, Sa’Nashi, that sings primarily in Mexican indigenous languages. With Wilmia Verrier Quiñones we will prepare a set of Mexican music from the 19th Century and will be collaborating with a traditional Mexican ensemble.
